You invited me in with your cautious gritty grin But there was softness in your eyes And a heart that been broken Cured with just a kiss There must be magic in those lips The feeling that have I don't know what is I only know what it's not The easiness in the air leaves me without a care And bleeds out my lonely heart Chorus: It's richer then gold to have you and grow old I just want you to hold I drink from your cup I could never get enough Don't ever let your well run dry I'm a wonder of myself I rely on no one else But you're my star in a crowded sky <CHORUS> I wanna tell you everyday how much I love you so But I you know it to be true You put your arms around me I just want you to know That I could never let you go <CHORUS>
2.
Keep your hand upon the throttle Keep your head above the grave There is no time to wonder if your soul can be saved But I sometimes still wonder in the mirrors of my ways If my soul reflects a firey blaze She-on did find me in the corner of the room Staring at the markings of an unmarked tomb When I wake up this morning And hard times did fall on I'll dig my grave and sing my song Chorus Mama always told me Be careful with whom you walk The devil looks upon you and always answers when you knock Yes he always answers when you knock My shadow drags behind me like a ghost from my past Haunting each footstep to remind me I live too fast Like a solider into battle I'm hearing my call So I answer with a footprint of what I saw If fame is the food that dead men eat Then they'll float above the ground with their souls upon their feet Hold back your tears mama do not cry Just lift me up to the spirit in the sky <CHORUS>

Dead Of Sea 04:13
Hiding behind a window Telling your secrets through the old screen door Spewing your marbles across the kitchen floor And your heart keeps asking you why Something in your heart asks why There's something inside of me And I can't stop the feed I can't quit the passion I can't slow the bleed The claws are in too deep I said the claws are in too deep Chorus: Hang on to me For I am sinking in the dead of sea Hang on to me For I am sinking in the dead of sea For I am sinking in the dead of sea I don't have much time So I spend it with my beer to wash down my wine Help me paint the picture - how to walk the line I'm troubled though I smile on I'm troubled though I smile on <CHORUS> How will they greet you when your ship comes in? God greet me as a friend How will they greet you when your ship comes in? Lord forgive me for my sins Say bye to mama and papa too For tonight we fly And we'll pray for a piece of mind And I'll need you there right by side I said I'll meet you there right by my side <CHORUS>

Lori Lee 06:20
This one is for my friends, the ones I can't see This one is for my heros, and this one's for me This one is for my ma and pa - sorry it couldn't be And this one is for Lori Lee Chorus: Goodbye Lori Lee Why couldn't you come home to me She's all I ever could see Now I live without Lori Lee It brings me sorrow to think she's all alone So far from me, so far from home So I borrow my whiskey to keep me company And I wonder what keeps her from getting lonely <CHORUS> This one is for my friends the ones I can't see This one is for my heros and this one's for me This one is for my ma and pa - sorry it couldn't be And this one is for Lori Lee <CHORUS> Goodbye Lori Lee Goodbye Lori Lee
5.
In the spring of 1864 I received my final breath on the furthest shore With an end in sight I wrote my letter stained in blood To the lady to whom I loved Chorus: Shoulder to shoulder we stood So side by side we lay as we should As my strength falls from me Bury me under the old oak tree And forget about me A good life is to die well So in this letter of my life I must tell I'm crafting these words of a long farewell May we meet in heaven or hell For this will be the final story I tell <CHORUS> Born the burden of the ultimate price The work of death does not look twice If so it must be I will die in victory Under the moon of Montgomery <CHORUS> I was a casualty of war Like so many boys before You loved much and lost all When you received my dying call But I'll have you know I stood tall <CHORUS>
6.
Caught my train at the station The smoke stack's burning low Put the coal upon the fire Cause this train's got to go Cause time waits for no man To the land of milk and honey Over the mountain tops Happiness happened yesterday And today never stops On this iron railway wagon That the devil rocks Chorus: I caught the last train to tomorrow And this train's not slowing down Many miles behind me I've got many more to go And the stranger in my mirror Resembles my father so The boiler's burning hot Don't let the engine blow <CHORUS> The hourglass grows clearer I remember the sands of time I own every one of them Every setting sun is mine And the longing to live Is now far behind <CHORUS>
